Dannenberg Joins SWBC Mortgage
SAN ANTONIO, TX (July 30, 2009) – SWBC announced today that Kerry Dannenberg has joined SWBC Mortgage Corporation as Executive Vice President of Capital Markets and Operations. Dannenberg will be responsible for all secondary marketing activities including hedging and investor relations. In addition, he will handle all aspects of underwriting and loan delivery.
“We are thrilled that our mortgage operations have expanded to the point which allows us to create an in-house secondary marketing function,” said Van Stewart, COO of SWBC Mortgage. “We are very lucky to bring Kerry on board. He has a proven track record, and he will be able to share his expertise to help contribute to the company’s continued growth.”
Prior to joining SWBC, Dannenberg spent 16 years working for CTX Mortgage Company, the lending subsidiary of Centex Corporation (NYSE:CTX). There he served as Executive Vice President of Capital Markets. Dannenberg is a former director of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association, a member of the National Mortgage Bankers Association and of the National Association of Home Builders, and a member of the Western Business Advisory Board for Fannie Mae. He received his master of business administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, and earned his bachelor of business administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
